The focus of this workshop will be to create length through our torso, ribs and chest and to open up hips and shoulders. When we activate these areas we also strengthen abdominal muscles which can improve balance and stability making it easier to do day-to-day activities.


Whole Body Alignment Yoga 5-Day Intensive with Jill Gaumont

Alignment Yoga combines the mindfulness of yoga with whole body alignment principles inspired by Restorative Exercises ™ and the Egoscue Method ™ creating a practice that may address movement patterns and habits that contribute to chronic pain and limited mobility.

Jill is a 600 + hour certified yoga teacher with the YAA, an Egoscue Method Certified Postural Alignment Specialist, and a Nutritious Movement Certified Restorative Exercise Specialist with over 15 years teaching experience.

Yoga & Body Rolling with Anita Sielecki

Friday, July 26 6:30 – 8:30pm $30

Body Rolling consists of a series of routines that use 6-to-10 inch diameter inflatable balls to stretch muscles, free restrictions in the body, realign, tone and increase blood flow, to promote healing. The routines are designed to not only lengthen muscles and fascia but also improve core strength, enhance posture, flexibility and balance.  They constitute a comprehensive approach that is very compatible and supportive of a yoga practice. When used on their own, they help free the body and relax the mind.


Registering for Workshops & Classes

The family here at Yoga Within is always trying to think of ways to improve our schedule & classes to better fit what classes & workshops you want to see & attend. The most helpful ways to do this is our your early registration for our Registered Classes & Workshops. We need a minimum of people pre-registered for each class & workshop. Pre-registrations help us determine what classes you are still excited about & interested in & what we will keep on our future schedule. While we do our best to make as many of our classes open to drop-ins, we need to do as much pre-registration as we can so we can ensure your favourite classes run & stay on the schedule.
