Our Alignment matters.  Do you have recurring or chronic injuries?  Has your yoga or movement practice plateaued?

In this workshop we will introduce what “ideal” alignment is and why this baseline matters. We will explore common unconscious postural habits that may be affecting our alignment then introduce how The Egoscue Method, Restorative Exercise and mindful strength practices can change our bodies and help us live pain free.


Yoga & Body Rolling with Anita Sielecki

Body Rolling consists of a series of routines that use 6-to-10 inch diameter inflatable balls to stretch muscles, free restrictions in the body, realign, tone and increase blood flow, to promote healing. The routines are designed to not only lengthen muscles and fascia but also improve core strength, enhance posture, flexibility and balance.  They constitute a comprehensive approach that is very compatible and supportive of a yoga practice. When used on their own, they help free the body and relax the mind.


Summer Solstice - Awaken Your Inner Radiance with Satwinder Kaur Sran

Join Satwinder Kaur Sran for our annual celebration of the summer Solstice.  Satwinder is a senior Kundalini Yoga Teacher and a Yoga Therapist who has been teaching in Edmonton and area for the last two decades.  She will guide you through the practice yoga, breath, mantra and meditation and have you experience bliss through the sounds of the Gong. The ancient treasures of the yogis will leave you feeling mentally, physically and emotionally cleansed, energized, invigorated and rejuvenated! 


Summon Summer Joy Yin Yoga & Yoga Nidra with Aly Daly

Experience long, supported holds of Yin Yoga to encourage the body and mind to relax and release tension on all levels. To complete this workshop, students will be guided through Yoga Nidra which induces complete physical, mental, and emotional relaxation. Within this peaceful state, the mind remains awake to explore different states of consciousness, while stimulating rejuvenation, increasing inner strength, shifting limited thinking patterns, awakening creativity, and counteracting stress. 

Students of all experience levels are welcome.


Registering for Workshops & Classes

The family here at Yoga Within is always trying to think of ways to improve our schedule & classes to better fit what classes & workshops you want to see & attend. The most helpful ways to do this is our your early registration for our Registered Classes & Workshops. We need a minimum of people pre-registered for each class & workshop. Pre-registrations help us determine what classes you are still excited about & interested in & what we will keep on our future schedule. While we do our best to make as many of our classes open to drop-ins, we need to do as much pre-registration as we can so we can ensure your favourite classes run & stay on the schedule.
