Yoga is a lifelong practice which extends beyond the physical postures practiced on the mat. This workshop will explore the ten ethical principles which form the foundation for a balanced yoga lifestyle. These guidelines provide the road map to navigate us from where we are to where we want to be. Using poetry, music and some yoga postures, we will discuss the thoughts, words and behaviors required to cultivate these principles. We will also learn to maintain them in our busy multitasking lifestyle with expectations of instant gratification. In addition, we will identify and discuss some of the common challenges encountered in progressing along our spiritual journey.
