This registered class explores a mix of Hatha yoga, functional and fun movement with some challenges.   Suitable for beginners.  Props are strongly recommended and will be used regularly.

Suggested props: Blanket or large towel, yoga strap, yoga blocks, bolster (optional). 

 

MEET JAN 

I have been practicing yoga for over 15 years.  My journey started with hot yoga and, after scheduling conflicts interfered, I began a search for a new yoga experience.   After several years of passing the studio's original location and contemplating a visit....no sense rushing these things....I finally decided to sign up for a class to find respite from a sedentary desk job.   Yoga relieved daily work stress, both physically and mentally.  I currently have 400 hours of teacher training.  I also enjoy Pilates and strength training.   I am incredibly grateful for the fantastic teachers I have had the pleasure of practicing with at Yoga Within.
