Kristine Nutting

Kristine has been practicing Yoga since 1998. Kristine was a regular student of Anna Radyo (lineage of Sandra Samartino) 1999- 2008 and Rameen Peyrow 2003- 2020 (lineage of K. Pattabhi Jois Mysore).  Kristine began her Yoga practice on a whim due to experiencing high stress levels at school. Her first class was in a church basement with the legendary Anita Seilecki and she found that the practice reduced her stress significantly, she felt relaxed for the first time in years. Since then Kristine has practiced Yoga regularly because the practice has excellent benefits for the nervous. Kristine has had the opportunity to study yoga in Mysore, as well as San Francisco and New York City. However over the years she has found the most rewarding practice and teachers to be here at home in Edmonton.  Her class is a combination of strength, engagement and relaxation through stretching the fascia and tissue. Kristine’s extensive teaching experience and study allows for the support of multiple body types and abilities in the classroom. Advanced practitioners may enjoy being challenged while older bodies, stiff bodies or new practitioners will enjoy being supported with modifications. Yoga is not about making shapes perfectly, it is about breathing together as we engage in our version of practice – exactly as it is.
