Shoulder Stability & Strength for Pain-Free Practice

Shoulders are complex joints that can be prone to injury without proper alignment and muscle activation. This session will guide you through pure movement techniques focused on maintaining shoulder stability and integrity in various yoga asanas. You’ll explore the unique structure of the shoulder girdle, understand the interaction between arm bone, collarbone and shoulder blade and learn how to build balanced movement across the entire complex. By the end, you’ll be equipped with the knowledge to prevent strain and pain, allowing for freer and more stable movement on and off the mat.

Free Your Hips: Alignment & Mobility

The hips are central to every movement, yet they’re often the first to tighten and cause discomfort. This workshop uses pure movement strategies to promote optimal hip alignment and unlock greater range of motion. We’ll cover the anatomy of the hip joint, including the role of the leg bone and pelvis, to help you understand how to achieve true hip mobility. You’ll discover how to align and engage your hips for fluid movement that translates into your practice and daily life. Ideal for easing tension, this session also helps prevent future injuries by strengthening and balancing hip stabilizers.
