Nand has been practicing and teaching yoga, meditation and ayurveda for over twenty five years in Edmonton. He grew up with a family that practiced traditional Bhakti Yoga at home and during festivals and community events. Nand brings an interesting East-West approach to yoga philosophy and the practice of different styles of yoga in contemporary societies. He likes storytelling, eastern music and Sufi poetry. After a long academic career, he now teaches therapeutic yoga classes, writes inspirational books and travels internationally to lecture and conduct workshops.
