Please bring: 2 foam blocks, a strap, and the book Pain Free by Pete Egoscue.
Students will receive a workbook with additional material not covered in the Pain Free book.
Meet Candace
When I retired in 2017, I had an ongoing on again/off again yoga practice. I decided that it was time to sign up for Yoga Teacher Training at Yoga Within and really begin to deepen my practice. That same year, I began taking Realignment Yoga with Jill Gaumont to address issues in my lower back and hips, and was introduced to the Egoscue Method. Once I began teaching Realignment Yoga, I decided to become certified through the Egoscue Institute, both to deepen my knowledge of this method and start to resolve my own hip and low back pain. I have found Yoga, the Egoscue Method and meditation to be the key in allowing me to be without pain and I love sharing what I have learned. I try to make the Realignment Yoga classes accessible with the goal of making people more aware and able to listen to their own bodies.
I am grateful for the balance yoga has brought into my life and thankful to be a part of the Yoga Within family.
